I typically avoid energy gels, etc. as I don't like the taste/texture. Hoping for a different experience, I tried these for the first time during a 14 mile run and found that I actually enjoyed eating them.

I found the Pomegranate taste to be good and the texture was similar to a good gummy bear. I shared with my running partner who also liked them. I will be buying more and using them for longer runs. They did not bother my stomach and were easily digested.

The pack is small enough to fit in a running belt and easy enough to open while running (if desired).

fantastic for hard workout.... - D. Turner -
These taste delicious (watermelon is my fave), they are easy to carry on a run and give me the extra energy I need on a long run. The only thing that annoys me is that they really stick to my teeth! It takes me a few minutes to get it all unstuck from my teeth. Other than that they are great for fuel on long workouts. I like them better than the gu's (except for the stickiness!).

I discovered Luna Moons while training for the 26.2 mile Chicago Marathon. They are delicious and provide the right amount of energy boost needed for a 5 or 6 hour race. I really like the pomegrante flavored ones!
